Cenote Chihuan

Cenote Chihuan is a cenote with a maximum depth of 14 meters (50 feet), although most are about 6 meters (20 feet) deep. It has direct access to the surface in most of its areas, with the exception of a small underwater circuit. This cenote has a length of approximately 120 meters as reported by the caretakers. In the illuminated part of the cenote, which is near the entrance, you can see formations of stalactites, stalagmites, concretions and columns that extend to depths of 3, 6, 9, 11 and 13 meters.
