Mayapan Archaeological Zone

We will visit one of the last Mayan cities to be inhabited, its architecture shows influence from Chichen Itza but also, we will notice masks of the god Chaac, the god of rain with influence from Uxmal, it shows us that they had trade between both cities

9:30 a.m. | Arrival at the archaeological zone, 10 minutes to buy entrance tickets (not included, direct payment $95.00 pesos per person)
9:40 a.m. | Start tour in the area, for 40 minutes

10:20 a.m. | Departure from Mayapan and direct transfer to the Nah-yah cenote, a calcareous rock formation that, due to the erosion of the rock with rainwater for thousands of years, forms this dome and reveals a vein of fresh water, totally an oasis in middle of the jungle, for the Mayans it represented the entrance to the underworld.
